Dr. Jason Golub, MD

Dr. Golub showed a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. He made rushed decisions about my mother’s care without understanding her medical history or listening to our family. It felt like his only goal was to discharge her as quickly as possible. His bedside manner was cold, dismissive, and careless—qualities that have no place in medicine. I’m incredibly disappointed by the lack of compassion and professionalism displayed. Sadly, the hospital doesn’t seem to care, so I can only hope karma does.

Dr. Golub was brash, unprofessional, rude, unkind, has zero listening skills, and I wouldn’t trust him to make any medical advice for any of my loved ones. He didn’t examine my son, or ask him or us (his parents ) any medically relevant questions. He tried to discharge him for the hospital without speaking to any of us, examining my son or even asking how my son was feeling. We were in absolute shock in the way that he behaved. He has zero bedside manner, and acts like he is God. The absolute worst physician we have ever encountered. He was also observed treating nurses like they were far beneath him. How is this man an attending physician at Bethesda West Hospital? We will NEVER return to Bethesda West because of him.

I was nervous about being assigned a Dr I did not know when I was admitted to BRRH through the ER. I am grateful for the excellent support of DR GOLUB. He was the first doctor who visited me after being admitted to the hospital. He had read the notes and understood what I was there for, explained clearly and concisely and answered both my own and my husband’s questions. He then followed up with me 4 days later and took action for me to receive appropriate treatment. He was knowledgeable , courteous, and pleasant. I am grateful for his very professional service

Arrogant medical professional who leaves patients and families out of the discharge planning process. He was assigned, not chosen, as the internal medicine doctor for my family member during a hospital stay. He needs to learn better manners when interacting with consumers.

Unfortunatley, I saw this Dr. Golub and He did Not have enough experience and had No answers for me because he was Not knowledgeable about anything. He had No idea where my pain was coming from and I found he had No patience either. He should of ordered me tests and I found him to be not only Not knowledgeable, but Not very smart either. I believe he needs more training and more schooling. I just found out I have cancer and he was Negligent in my care.

Get rid of this jerk. I left a negative review a month ago and I see no evidence of it. Gollub has no qualities that entitle him to treat a patient.

Dr. Golub is a hospitalist, he learns about you very quickly and I have had the privilege of them caring for me I’m more than one occasion. He really cares.

No need to say anything that hasn't already been said. They need to replace this guy, before he gives a great hospital a bad reputation. Send him to JFK he'll fit right in there. These last three reviews sum it up as far as our experience with this Dr.

Whatever you do, avoid being treated by him. He has no sympathy, no bedside manner, comes off snarky when talking about OTHER doctors and their practice, and didn’t have any concern as to the pain I was in! He was adamant on getting me discharged from the hospital after my inpatient stay and I was still in pain after a hemicolectomy surgery! Now I’m at home sick with no relief, and have to find another provider or hospital to help me.

Dr. Golub treated my wife about two months ago. He seemed bothered by being called in and when discussing her case went so far as to say that the emergency room physician knew absolutely nothing he was talking about. After completing her care and being discharged home, the practice also sent us a bill even though they had been paid by both us and insurance. When questioned on the bill, they quickly tried saying that it was an error and to disregard. Not a very professional practice at all.

By the luck of the draw, he was my father's Hospitalist. We found him to be very impersonal and negative. He was also borderline rude when we asked some questions about rehab facilities, saying he'd never send his worst enemy to one, when we felt that might be the best option. No bedside manner whatsoever.
