My follow up visit with the doctor was a nightmare, come true. Doctor Sold was defensive, argumentative and not solution focused.I explained my issue progressively advance the week prior to my follow up, and explained 4 days prior I had not slept well and it was affecting my job performance drastically. I am unable to focus due to the nerve pain, burning in armpit, tinkling and strange movement on the my back right shoulder, and the consistent coldness of my right hand.I explained:My arm is not stationary, and more than 20 times per day, it shift and not saying it is designated area. He made no attempt to understand me, he was filled with unsympathetic push backs, not interested in accepting responsibility for my health. He kept pointing at the x-rays and he said.'I see no reason where the pain is coming from'after explaining how and where twice. The x rays were taken in a fixed stationary position. And the shifting happens while I am in motion. I weep for my future.

Not Patient First
At our first appointment, Dr. Soldatis looked at my knee and X-rays and told me I had a stiff hip. He sent me to PT. After weeks of PT, he finally ordered an MRI. MRI showed surgery needed. Insurance said more PT. Dr. Soldatis refused to do a peer review conference with insurance and told me I had to do more PT. 2 weeks later I received phone call from PA that I needed more PT before we could look at surgery again. Dr. Soldatis held firm on his refusal to contact insurance to go to surgery without more PT. Went to another doctor in different office. I’ve had my surgery and am on road to recovery but if I had stayed with Dr . Soldatis I would still being doing PT. He absolutely refuses to advocate for his patients even knowing what insurance is saying will not solve his patient’s issue. Would not recommend.

Horrible first impression and will NOT see again
I was very disappointed with our consultation with Dr Soldatis regarding my daughter’s knee (torn ACL and torn Meniscus). Instead of educating us and sharing his expertise, he wrote down a website for us to do our own research! He didn’t ask us if we had any questions, he made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. His PA was thorough and when he came in after meeting with her, he had the timeline information incorrect. When he asked my daughter questions, he answered them for her. Horrible experience. I do not recommend.

Nearly two years of misery. I have all the same pain and issues I had prior to the surgery. Pain with movement and weakness in my shoulder as well as a lot of pain effecting my sleep. After surgery I saw the doctor for seven months before he basically dismissed me. Afterwards I was still having a lot of pain and depression with limited movement in my shoulder. I religiously did the physical therapy he prescribed to an offsite PT office. He said take ibuprofen as needed which would’ve been three times a day apparently for the rest of my life. Nine months post surgery I went to a pain specialist. She immediately diagnosed me with severe tendinitis from all the physical therapy. She resolved about 90% of my pain with acupuncture, dry needling and other techniques within a month. I was left with the same pain I had prior to surgery. I found new doctor who also has done several other family members . You should too!

Dr. Soldatis and Kaitlin/PA-C was great. Dr. Soldatis came in the exam room first. He examined my Lt knee. It was very swollen and painful. Dr. Soldatis recommended doing an aspiration followed by a cortisone injection. I agreed with this decision. Once the supplies was brought in Kaitlin assisted Dr. Soldatis. Everything was explained to me before and during the aspiration. Kaitlin even told me i was doing great and that was comforting. My knee feels so much better today.

Excellent. Dr. Soldatis and the entire Orthoindy organization was excellent. I had shoulder replacement surgery which was a great success with very little pain after the operation. Hospital staff were very professional and helpful. Everything I requested in support was provided in a timely manner. The physical therapy was also excellent. I highly recommend Orthoindy and Dr. Soldatis to anyone needing shoulder surgery.

An outstanding, professional that is truly concerned with his patients’s successful outcome. Usually very timely for appointments and listen well to your symptoms. Tries alternative treatments before suggesting surgery. Have already referred one of my best friends to him!!

Not happy with the follow up process. They call me for a check up 3 years after surgery but tell me they can’t schedule because I’m passed due on a bill. Never got call or follow up about being passed due. Getting billed from 4 different places. Really frustrating...

Not confident in dr abilities. Scheduling appt very difficult. Very demanding on when appt. needed scheduled on a specific day. Advised injury was a fracture and not a fracture. Not recommended.
