Outstanding Diagnostician
Dr. Borg Stein is meticulously thorough physician who really listens to her patients. She is smart and has a gentle sense of humor though she is very serious about her work. She is cautious and turns over every stone... I feel very grateful to be in such skilled hands. If people find fault because she is too busy for small talk that is unfair. She is kind, caring and genuine. Also extremely busy because she is in such high demand.

Excellent care, took time to listen and took a thorough history. Dr. Borg-Stein seemed to really care and want to help. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable, patiently answering all my questions, even the ones that were slightly off topic (can you tell me about the history of the treatment). 14/10

At the recommendation of a friend, I recently saw Dr. Borg-Stein for a second opinion re: a variety of musculoskeletal issues. In this initial consultation, Dr. Borg-Stein spent over an hour with me learning about my concerns, reviewing and discussing my imaging, examining me, performing an ultrasound, describing her recommendations, and thoroughly addressing my questions. I have never felt more deeply listened to or more skillfully assessed and evaluated than in my consult with Dr. Borg-Stein. I felt she drilled down to identify underlying root causes while also addressing the body systemically and wholistically. Her depth of presence, genuine empathy and compassion, and clinical skill and expertise is unmatched in my experience. While I've had the good fortune to be treated by excellent physicians, I've never had such a "peak medical experience." I believe Dr. Borg-Stein fully embodies the very best of the medical profession in every way, truly caring for mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Borg Stein has been handling my Achilles tendon Tendinosis as well as providing management, leadership and consultation regarding other health challenges I am currently experiences. This was a follow up visit to report on my progress while I have been dealing with multiple issues. She has been a caring and knowledgeable supporter utilizing her network team to coordinate my care and communication. At this point, I feel I am getting the best of care for a non-surgical situation. My overall health including diet concerns has been a primary focused. I believe my situation is on track while I hope the recommendations and my participation will get meback to normalcy. I have been seeing Dr. Borg-Stein for a few years for PRP injections for pain management related to post-traumatic arthritis resulting from an ankle fracture. Dr. Borg-Stein is an exceptional clinician and I have complete confidence in her expertise and clinical judgement about my long term treatment plan. She always takes the time to answer my questions and is very respectful when she answers. I feel like I am a partner in my own care with a voice and an opinion! She is approachable, kind, and is one of those physicians that make you feel like you are being treated by one of the best. I highly recommend her without reservation and am grateful to be in her care because most importantly, my pain has been reduced enough that I have been able to build in more physical activity.

I have been to A LOT of Doctors in the past 2 years at the onset of my chronic pain and haven’t left reviews. Dr. Borg-Stein rates at the top. At the end of my visit I think she knew more about my situation than any MD I have seen. She was compassionate, thorough and didn’t rush me in any way......imagine. . I have also Dr. Barreveld who is top notch. I encourage anyone struggling with pain to visit one of these MD’s. Both are simply amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Borg-Stein. I was referred to her after numerous injections and 4 spine surgeries. She was very thorough and offered a fresh perspective and treatment options. I've met with many of 'the best' surgeons, neurologists and physiatrists during this journey and Dr. Borg-Stein is certainly one of the best I've worked with. I would highly recommend her. It did take me quiet a while to get an appointment but that tends to be the case when trying to see specialists.

Rude and cindescending- stay away from this doctor . I did not like her attitude toward me when I was in a lot of pain. She treated me rudely and was very impatient with me when I asked just two questions about my situation. I would NEVER go back to her because she really upset me by the way she treated me at a vulnerable time in my life.

Her style is terrible. I saw her because I have a bad neck. She ordered an MRI. After I had the MRI recorded, I could not make contact with her. No appointment, no nothing. A complete disconnect. Her office did not enter the MRI results in my record . Avoid this doctor !
