Highly recommended!
Saw Dr Tennant for a 2nd opinion 6 months post op from lisfranc injury. He answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Based on my symptoms, he recommended a CT and surgery to remove the hardware in my foot. CT confirmed lag screw placement wasn't where it was supposed to be and proved suspicion of arthritis. Surgery went smoothly! Currently recovering and feeling much better!

There are no words to express how satisfied and thrilled to be so fortunate to have Dr. Joshua Tennant and his staff for my diagnosis and surgery. My experience with Dr. Tennant and his staff was nothing short of extraordinary! Also, his nurse Kelsey, one of the best in her field. She is always available to answer any question not matter how big or small! The personal attention you receive from this office makes you feel like "part of a family".

I was very nervous when I started this adventure and I had gone to three other doctors to get their opinions. I knew after getting his thoughts on what he would he saw to be the issue and what he would do to alleviate the problem, I would have the surgery at UNC and Dr. Tennant. Dr. Tennant was assured of himself without being aloof. He has a wonderful smile and I am very pleased with my choice. Thank you Dr. Tennant and thanks to your great staff!

Dr. Tennant is by far the best orthopedic surgeon I've ever had (after many ankle surgeries!) and even though I live near Philadelphia now, I'd still come down to UNC to see him for a foot/ankle surgery! He amputated my right foot after we decided that it was the most functional thing for my life, and I haven't had any issues with it at all! He was so helpful throughout the entire process and did a wonderful job. Several prosthetists have even asked me for his name specifically!

I started seeing Dr Tennant last year about my right ankle injury from a car accident. We talked about what could be done. This year, 2016 after x-Ray & MRI, more damage had been done to my ankle. Dr Tennant suggested that I have surgery. He walked me through all the steps, pre-care, pre-cautions, what was to be expect This past June has a right ankle surgery Dr Tennant's staff & orthopedic staff is very professional & knowledge. I'm thanfuk for him & the UNC Orthopaedic staff truly.

Dr. Tennant is by far the ortho dr I have been to. I have had a lot of broken bones in my life and been to a lot of doctors. Dr tennant will take time and listen to what you have to say and then give you his thoughts without him pushing them down your throat or making you feel stupid. He has a wonderful bedside manner and really takes his time with you. He also has a wonderful nurse and staff.

I first had an appt with Dr Tennant late last year. I immediately told him that I was told to buy 3 different boots - none of which helped foot; therefore, Dr Tennant told me about the hard open toe shoe with velcro straps - should be the perfect shoe for me. Also, I told him that I taped my toes together to ease the pain; I bought the plastic toe separator to keep the toe from arching up, but nothing seemed to work. He performed the surgery and now I'm well Yeah!
