I have been a Health Care Professional for over 34-years, and I am very cautious when selecting a Provider.I am Blessed to have found Dr Kalahasty . Not only is she professional, knowledgeable, and highly trained, she listens and uses her critical thinking skills to assess your health care needs.Now I see why so many other Health Care Professionals, trust Dr Kalahasty to perform their Colonoscopies and Endoscopies.

Best Gastroenterology (GI) doctor in South Florida. I saw many doctors in South Florida for years for my chronic GI conditions before my primary referred me to Dr. Kalpana Kalahasthy a few months ago. She was a god send for me. She is super nice and caring. I have fully recovered now and can't thank Dr. Kalahasthy and her staff enough for the excellent care they provided me.

Went to see Sherry Johnson to recheck a hepatic cyst. When I walked in the health technician immediately took my BP which was extremely high and it never is. Rest assure, that she did not do it correctly because she was rushing. I needed an ultrasound, so I picked Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. But of course an office worker booked me at Jupiter Medical Center (she was also rude), so I cancelled it and went to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.Long story short, I got the ultra sound and it had some concerning information that I would have liked to discuss, so I called them and left a message for either the doctor or the nurse practitioner to call me. No one called. I had the ultrasound report since that morning and it was a Friday. Wondering if the person who took my message understood any English, all she kept saying was 'huh ?'. I believe this is the same person who took my BP. The staff is less than zero. Not sure yet about the doctor or the nurse practitioner yet. Not good!

I have been to her begore and she was okay, so I needed regular colonoscopy and decided to try her again. Her office staff leaves a lot to be desired...totally unknowledgeable, impatient and rude. Finally made a televisit 3 weeks out and was promised info would be sent via text to inform me how to use, along with paperwork. Received nothing. I am to have this televisit in 30 mins and have called there 5 times, only to get recording stating they are out to lunch OR the call is picked up and then disconnected...it's 1:50 now. I am cancelling the whole thing! If they ever call me again, that is!!!!

Dr. Kal is very thorough. She takes as much time as needed to answer your questions. Her staff is very professional and outgoing. That put you at ease before and after your procedure.

She didnt care to hear me out... I felt very rushed and she didn't do a full examination of my condition. She just pressed on my stomach (while I was sitting on regular, non-patient, chair) sent me off with medication that didn't work.

The whole experience with the doctor and her staff was first rate. Prompt attention to my situation, very caring and careful staff, and the doctor was right up there with the best I've ever had. I found her whole setup to be very efficient, modern (loved the telemedicine consultation) and thorough!

I didn't even get to appointment level. The office staff aren't doing a good job for this doctor. After months of discomfort, I decided to call for an appt. The young girl who answered talks so quickly that you only get the last half of the words when she picks up. She put me on hold for over 6 mins. I called back to be (apathetically) asked a series of questions about my issues, then she diagnosed me all by herself. "We don't do external, we only do internal," right after I told her I was having stomach issues and bowel movement troubles. When I said I need an exam, she (boredly) offered me a Video Exam for 3 wks out. Just a terrible impression, I'm afraid. Your receptionist is you first representation, Doctor. It's a shame I need to start my search over.

What a special office staff and assistants in the PBG office. Smiles, answered questions, patience- above and beyond other practices I’ve used. Professional medical care. Highly recommended!!

She takes time to thoroughly listen, then educate the patient about their medical issue and provide a diagnosis. She is also a very kind person.

I just received a response from Dr. Kalahasthy regarding my post from 7 months ago. First, in my opinion it shouldn’t have taken such a long time to respond to my post (if someone really cared). Secondly, it was definitely the doctor herself and NOT her office staff that told me to go somewhere else. I did follow her suggestion and I was very happy with the gastroenterologist I used.

I recently visited Dr. Kalahasthy for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Having the procedure done at her office in the morning was very convenient as I didn't have to take an entire day off. I am from New York and moved to Florida many years ago, I have seen my fair share of Gastroenterologists since my 20s as I suffer from a chronic syndrome, Dr.Kalahasthy is by far the best Gastroenterologists that I have seen. She is compassionate and a great doctor.

I moved from Minneapolis to Palm Beach Gardens about 3 years ago and visited Dr. Kalahasthy for a colonoscopy and pancreatitis. I have been to some of the best doctors at Mayo Clinic and I have to agree with the lady from Philly that Dr. Kalahasthy is a great GI doctor.

I am in my 30s and I am being treated by Dr. Kalahasthy for Irritable Bowl Syndrome (IBS). It's a chronic condition that was crippling my life before I visited Dr. Kalahasthy. I have to say that Dr. Kalahasthy has provided me excellent treatment and helped me keep it under control and manageable. She is a very good and caring doctor.

I am a snow bird from Philly that spends my winters in Palm Beach. I visited Dr. Kalahasthy just before Thanks Giving for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I visited many doctors in Philly and Palm Beach and I feel that Dr. Kalahasthy is absolutely the best Gastroenterologist ! Dr. Kalahasthy found and removed pre-cancerous polyps which might have saved my life!

I had my screening colonoscopy done by Dr. Kalahasthy, something that we all need once we are in our 50s. I had the procedure done at her office, and it was so convenient compared to getting it done at a hospital. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes. Dr. Kalahasthy and her staff were just amazing. Dr. Kalahasthy removed several polyps from my colon which soetime become cancerous. I am now after my husband to get his colonoscopy done!

Dr Kalahasty is an excellent Gastroenterologist who really cares about her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone with gastro issues. She is top notch.

My experience with dr.kalahasthy was very poor. After going to her with urgent symptoms of ongoing abdominal pain, N/V, reflux and voiced concerns about a potential gallbladder issue. I was given a prescription for Zantac and sent home. The very next day l had a severe attack that mimicked a heart attack was taken to the ER.. And then was taken in for emergency gallbladder surgery.
