Excellent!! At each visit I had with him he was extremely compassionate, caring, and listened completely to all my concerns. He explained all procedures thoroughly and was very, very respective of my thoughts and input. I did not feel rushed, at all, and was very grateful for all the time he spent with me. Plus, most importantly, he was the only one that located where my pain was stemming from and was able to alleviate it. I would highly recommend him.

This is not my first review of Dr. Emr and I wouldn't usually write a second review. However, he is such a warm, caring and compassionate individual that I am happy to recommend him again. He takes his time to really talk to you and try to determine exactly what is going on. He has already treated me twice with back injections and I received tremendous pain relief both times. i am grateful to have wound up in the care of such an excellent physician. I recommend him without qualification. Simply, the BEST!

Dr. Emr is a compassionate individual who seems to care about his patients. He listens to your concerns about what you are experiencing. He is not like some providers who ask how you are doing and when you tell them what is the problem you leave with no answer. Over all I am pleased with the service that is provided.

My wife, Connie, and I met with Dr. Emr for a first time consultation visit. He throughly explained the spinal stimulation surgical procedure in detail and was very attentive to our concerns and needs. Dr. Emr’s down to earth approach relived much of the anxiety my wife was experiencing about the procedure prior to the visit. In one word…impressed! My wife has full confidence in Dr. Emr that he will perform the procedure with a high level of expertise.

Dr. Emr willingness to listen as I explained my concerns without judgement or interrupting was everything. He explained his concerns and medical point of view in a very understanding way.

Dr. Emr is down-to-earth. He listens carefully. He communicates fully. He is respectful and provides as much time as needed. Wish he could be cloned.

I followed Dr. Emr from Albany Medical Spine Center to OrthoNY. His knowledge base and skill set are beyond comparison to any other in the field; yet it is his invested interest and commitment to his patient as a person in pain that sets him above all others. However, the managed health care model utilized by OrthoNY made it impossible for me to be seen by Dr. Emr for three months beyond the day I made the appointment, significantly worsening my condition. Over the last two months, under Dr. Emr’s intervention, I am now 75% improved and will continue with a treatment plan focused on my continued improvement.

Dr. Emr takes the time to explain in detail what your condition is without burdening you with medical terminology that you might not understand. He is clear with and welcomes applicable questions. After a conversation he proposes a course of action all the time allowing questions and comments. In summary, he is undoubtedly one of the best medical professionals I have known.

Procedure to hopefully eliminate significant debilitating lower back pain. Procedure went smoothly and am already feeling some relief.

Is a very kind and understanding Dr very professional and smart doesn’t make assumptions and is very unbiased which is kinda a requirement for a Dr but many don’t really practice it, he does! I personally have improved quite a bit under his care from an injury. I recommend him 100% to anyone needing a pain management dr
