Dr. Kevin Schoen, DO

Dr. Schoen was great! Given this is the Emergency Department things have to move quickly. I appreciated his efficiency and his ability to be thorough without feeling as though I didn't get what I needed. He gave proper instructions for aftercare of my wound and answered my questions adequately.

Dr. Schoen should be ashamed of himself. I came into the ER begging for help. Repeatedly crying out that there was something very wrong to please help me. Dr. Schoen dismissed my concerns and requests. Even when I got to the point that I knew I was dying and told him over and over again. He would roll his eyes at me and tell me to calm down. At that point I was basically saying goodbye to my daughter after she had called and the nurse answered my phone. Dr. Schoen came into the room while my daughter was talking to the nurse. My daughter told him my mom has never talked like this please help her. My daughter started asking him what he's doing to help and if he has ordered imaging to determine what was going on. The Doc dismissed her completely, ( he hadn't ordered imaging) told her she wasn't a Doc and walked out while she was talking. Imaging wasn't ordered for hours. End result was twisted intestines, emergency surgery. I almost died because of Dr. Schoen. Shame on you!

Dr Schoen cared well for my daughter in the ED. He was very compassionate and extremely attentive. We never felt he rushed to get us out quickly. He made sure her migraine improved before asking if she was ready to leave. We would recommend Dr Schoen to anyone. Wish all Doctors were like him!
