Dr. Larry Lawrence, MD

I was pressured into an unnecessary C-section for my first birth. Was knocked out mid C section because of excessive bleeding. Husband and baby were rushed out of the room. I came out 6 hours later and nothing was ever explained to me. Surgical notes state normal c section. Cut was far too large as stated by my following surgeon and my bladder was damaged somehow. I’ll never know because of falsified records.

Dr. Lawrence delivered my son in 2004; I’m sad to see some of the reviews about him. I don’t typically (EVER) do reviews, but I felt compelled because in my experience with him, he was nothing like others described (not to discount their feelings, at all). I, personally, always appreciated that he was straightforward and honest with me. Dr. Lawrence was always very professional, courteous, friendly, caring, and compassionate. I required monitoring on Sunday’s (high risk pregnancy), and he was always checking in on me during those sessions- either by phoning the nurses, or by stopping in if he was in the hospital doing rounds. I had a few issues after my son was born, and he was very attentive and compassionate during those times as well. As a woman in her mid-40’s, I can confirm that Dr. Lawrence is above average when compared to his peers. He was my OBGYN for years, delivered my child, and performed surgery on me; I have ZERO complaints. Dr. Lawrence is a great doctor.

Totally missed it. I would give him a zero if I could. I had a 14 cm necrotic mass in my ovary which required emergency hysterectomy. He was the first gyno to examine me. He missed it completely like he couldn't be bothered on that Sunday afternoon. 2nd opinion revealed surgery was needed immediately. I wouldn't send my dog to Dr. Lawrence.

Never go there.It was hard to find the office, the wait times were ridiculous, and the desk staff professionally rude (meaning they stayed professional but were as unhelpful as they could get away with). I got to wait, half naked, for almost half an hour before anyone even entered the room- the very cold room. The women's wellness exam was a hello, quick and rough peek, and goodbye. I had questions but felt so unheard, unwanted, and didn't think I would be able to believe his answers. Don't go!
