Straight Shooter
I was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma May 2019. I was sent to a doctor that handled me like cattle! I did some research and hand picked Dr Menendez. He was the best choice ever. His bedside personality is that of an EXPERT! He wasn't there to become my best friend(best friends sometimes lie to you to not hurt your feelings) He was there to make sure that I understood my condition, options and he gave his expert advice. He listen to me, my family and ensured us we didn't have to worry. He did my femur surgery to remove bone cancer. I hadn't been able to walk for 1 year. He isn't big on passing out pain medication nor did I want to become addicted. I am 5 years in and I can truly say that he is one of the best, I am waking without assistance! He is retired now and I cried at my last appointment. I know that it was awkward for him to see me crying but I will truly miss him and our appointments. Best doctor ever.

Dr. Menendez was recommended by my primary care doctor. He is very professorial and has a detached bedside manner that might put some people off. My local Dr. and oncologist were unable to say exactly what I had. He was able to make a correct assessment of my situation before doing a biopsy, which confirmed his assessment. While I was a little put off by his personality, I am confident that he does not sugar coat his opinions and that I can rely on his expertise. His office staff and colleagues were extremely helpful and caring

We highly recommend Dr. Menendez. In the late 90's, he saved a family member's leg, gave him hope and a new life. We are forever grateful.
