Dr. Lead D. Kern has caused emotional trauma, loss of wages and pain and suffering to my children and our family. She is the by far the worst physician and person my family have ever experienced!!!! Our children were under her care for 4 years. Because of her medical mistakes and oversights she has turned our life upside down and inside out and she has zero remorse for what she did to us. I explained my formal complaints against her and her medical license and that she was fired from working with my family. The only thing she had to say was "I'm sorry you're firing me." Without sharing the terrible details of what she did please know that as of April 9th, 2021 Dr. Leah D. Kern is being formally investigated by the State of California Medical Board and the Osteopathic Board of Medicine for Medical Malpractice, Medical Negligence and Medical Fraud. She also has to respond to a grievances and a list of other complaints with UCSD Health and Rady Children's Hospital.

Dr. Kern has been my son's pediatrician since he was born. She is extremely gentle and caring. He absolutely looks forward to seeing her. Dr. Kern is a beautiful and kind soul. Traits like these matter to parents and especially children. Dr. Kern always takes the time (and is not rushed) to explain procedures during the visit, and follow up is a breeze. If I have a question for Dr. Kern, I am able to leave a message and their medical staff will inquire w Dr. Kern and return my call in an expeditious manner. If I could rate her w 100 stars I would! THANK YOU for you EXCELLENT work Dr. KERN!

If you plan to implement an alternate vaccine schedule I would not use Dr. Kern as a pediatrician. She will make you feel like an awful parent for spreading them out a bit.
