Dr. Luxme Hariharan, MD

My 1 year old had eye muscle surgery with Dr. Hariharan and I could not be more pleased. She was incredibly kind and took her time during every single appointment. I saw several different ophthalmologists in the area and never felt confident about having them operate on my son until I met Dr. Hariharan! Dr. Hariharan clearly puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows! She makes herself available to parents for any questions and is very knowledgeable. Her entire team is also fantastic and so patient with young kids.

I have been to innumerable ophthalmologist’s who have told me there is no help for my child’s vision. This physician is the first to improve his vision. Her bedside manner is the best of any physician I’ve taken my son to. Unlike in most offices where you act child is simply another patient, this doctor actually cares and looks at their individual needs. They’re not just a number. I would recommend her hands down to anyone. My son has CP, and most ophthalmologist’s gave up on his vision from the get go, off of diagnosis alone . This physician looks at him as what he is, just another child, who can be helped.

Brought my 6 year old to have his eyes dilated and the doctor and her team couldn't have been more wonderful; friendly, efficient and so thorough!

I am so grateful to Dr Hariharan and her team at Nicklhaus Childrens Hospital for having correctly diagnosed my son for Cortical Visual Impairment. Thanks to her support and diagnosis we were able to seek support at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind. Furthermore, we had seen multiple pediatric ophthalmologists even at the # 1 eye institute and we did not receive the quality of care that we received with Dr Hariharan and the Nicklhaus Childrens Hospital. I was very impressed with her knowledge and service. Also the waiting time at Bascon Palmer was a few hours as opposed to no waiting time with Dr Hariharan. I would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend you take your child to see her!

Dr. Hariharan was amazing!! She took her time to explain the diagnosis, potential risks & care plan. We are blessed to have found her! Extremely knowledgable and takes her time explaining everything. Thank you doctor!

Dr. Hariharan is a gifted clinician who clearly loves and dedicates herself to working with children and families. Her office staff and environment reflect her approach. Jessica consistently has gone above and beyond expectations. Flor was very kind with my daughter. I am grateful for their professionalism. I have worked in pediatrics for decades and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hariharan and her staff.

I was so impressed with how knowledgeable and compassionate Dr. Hariharan is along with taking the time to make the patient feel at ease. My son was so nervous at his visit and her bedside manner was excellent. The staff at the office are very professional and kind, they answered all my questions. We will definitely recommend her services.

Dr.Hariharan is such a sweetheart! She explains everything, very detailed! She truly cares about her patients! She is very thorough. She answers all your questions/concerns & she doesn’t rushes. My son loves Dr.Hariharan! She is so Awesome, both of my kids & nephews see Dr.Hariharan . Her staff is also AMAZING!

Dr Hariharan is one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My daughter spent 5 months in the PICU from birth. Of all the tons of specialists we saw she was my favorite. We will continue to see her even though its a 90 minute drive. She has so much compassion and I wouldn't trust my daughter with anyone else
