July 8, 2017 - 2 AM - went to the emergency room at Salem Hospital with severe back pain. Dr. Banasik was the neurosurgeon on call. She scheduled surgery for me the next day. July 9 – Dr. Banasik operated on my back to correct the severe spinal stenosis. When I came out of surgery she said that full recovery would take about six months June 29, 2022 - Since the surgery I have experienced full recovery, no back problems, although I am very careful to do only moderate lifting and not over stress my back. A big thank you Dr Banasiak for insuring my recovery Bob Pool bpoo2@msn.com 503-507-9018

Had surgery in October of 2013 for l5-s1 fusion. Pre surgery I would limp dragging my left leg. After, I was walking the same day, and have full function of my legs. Dr Banasiak was a lifesaver.

If you need an afternoon appt and are a new patient, forget this doctor. Her staff only allows mornings for new patients. She'd get paid no matter what time your appointment is, but her convenience is more important than your ability to make a paltry living to survive. You can ice your back pain with the callousness you'll get from this office. I'd prefer to find a doctor's office that cares about its patients and not their rules

She was horribly rude. I had to wait 51 minutes before I ever saw her to be rude to me after being treated poorly by the office staff because they don't agree with alternative medicine and if I popping pills that would be fine but because I medicate with marijuana the I'm bad because it's bad even though another doctor put there license on the line to recommend medical marijuana for me they don't respect that doctor's recomendation or me as a person. Horrible experience overall
