Amazing Surgeon
Dr. Manish Patel and his staff are the absolute best of the best. What a skilled surgeon. I am a frequent flyer with Dr. Patel and have put his skills to test way too often. He is extremely patient and professional.

Excellent hand specialist
Terrific doctor. he got me into the hospital same day to address a bite infection. Thoughtful and concerned with my issue. Excellent staff support and follow up with little to no wait. The work he did turned out great and left minimal scarring.

I trust Dr. Patel but finally had to leave because of the incompetence of the administrative staff in office and at Capital Pain Institute. The last straw was not being allowed to see the doctor because they said I wasn't covered by the insurance I had. This has been an ongoing issue and they couldn't get it fixed. In the end, it was, once again their fault and yet I was expected to reschedule after driving more than an hour there. When I had my surgery, it was a nightmare scheduling and getting things done in the right order. I even had my surgery "denied" the day before I was scheduled. Why was it scheduled if there had not been approval!! They constantly blamed me or my insurance and it was their issue all along. I would say it might get better but my first surgery had issues with administration as well and it's only gotten worse.

Has been pushing my surgery back for almost a year. Has proven himself dishonest, unprofessional, and definitely not worth a shred of my trust. He and his staff have made it excessively difficult to get this scheduled, requiring more and more prerequisites each time one is completed. I’d rather be injured my entire life than allow him to work on me while I’m unconscious.

For some perspective, Dr. Patel did surgery on my wrist/forearm fracture more than 10 years ago. He was great, as was his staff. He explained everything, and gave me a referral to a terrific physical therapist afterward. I feared I might not be able to play the piano again, but thanks to Dr. Patel, I can and I do.

Dr. Patel is an excellent surgeon who repaired my radius after I shattered it when I tripped and fell. He has a wonderful engaging manner and took the time to answer all my questions. I feel very lucky that the ER doctor referred me to him. Thank you, Dr. Patel, for doing such a great job putting all the pieces of my radius back together! If I ever need hand or wrist surgery again, I'll come back to you!

I was a patient of Dr. Patel’s for 3 and a half years. I had nerve damage in both arms and needed 6 surgeries. I was going through worker’s comp and was able to get the first two. He advocated for me when I began getting denied. Once I was able to use my own insurance to finish the treatment, he expedited the rest of my surgeries. He was always very professional and passionate about helping patients get and feel better. He always took time to explain things and is dedicated to his profession. I would recommend him to anyone and if I ever needed his services in the future we would return and seek his help. Thank you Dr. Patel for getting my life back on track.

I had an ulnar nerve transposition and tendon lengthened with Dr. Patel. He is AMAZING. I am also having a rotator cuff and SLAP tear repaired with him this week. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. He knows what he is doing.

I recently underwent surgery to repair my ruptured left bicep tendon. I had ruptured the tendon on the opposite arm just 5 years previously. Dr. Patel was my surgeon 5 years ago and he did such an amazing repair with my last rupture, I did not hesitate to contact him again to repair this latest injury.. Once again he did a superb job and took the time to exam my arm the old school way...No need for any fancy MRIs... he diagnosed it clinically and repaired me the very next day.. He is the best..

I had rotator cuff surgery 4 months ago. My results have been outstanding. My shoulder motion and strength have exceeded my expectations. Dr Patel was helpful and informative. He went out of his way to help with a prescription issue post surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone.

Best orthopedic doctor experience. Dr. Patel spent time explaining everything in detail, good personality, great bed-side manner and very easy to talk to. My final appointment, Dr. Patel spent over 30 minutes with me explaining my surgeries, all questions I had and letting me know everything I was experiencing was normal. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. Although he was assigned to me via worker's comp, I will go to him in the future for any orthopedic issues.

Dr. Patel was not only very knowledgeable but was patient enough to answer all my questions explaining my treatment options. I even had a family member accompany me to ensure I was understanding everything. He took the time to even answer questions by that family member. I am not only pleased at the outcome but would highly recommend him.
