I have an autoimmune disease which gives rheumatoid arthritis, I have been in 2 motorcycle crashes, the last one a car hit me from behind, I had a fractured l3 and l3-l5 has degeneration along with my shoulders 9/10 pain. I was referred to dr.Pappagallo from my GP and he bugged when I explained all my problems he just wanted to focus on one, the back, he told me my GP should give tramadol and when I told him she said to go to him, he got angry and ended the appointment, he wouldn’t even repeat the name of the nonopioid pill that could help with my pain and inflammation. If you’re in real pain beware of this doctor he is so rude I can not believe the way I was just treated, he basically said “oh your asking about drugs again, I have another patient I need to go goodbye” I said wait can you please help me another way and was denied. I just want the minimum pain killer I can take even 5/10 pain would be a godsend but I can’t seem to get help I’m a cripple

I disagree with the Person who gave a 1, Dr. Pappagallo is the elite on the entire Planet and as another said he is a HERO, give him a break when you are seeing the absolute best you can expect a wait, he is worth waiting for even if I had to come the next day and stay at a local hotel..

I have been a patient of Marco Pappagallo for over five years. I was referred to him by another Pain Management physician who trained with Dr. Pappagallo in a post-Residency Fellowship program. Dr. Pappagallo has been an essential part of my medical oversight and I completely trust his advice. He has extensive academic knowledge and clinical experience. He is a great listener and is generous with his time. There is no doctor, specializing in Pain Management and Neurology that I value more.

Hard to trust a doctor that can't show up to your appointment on time, double books each time slot and flat out tells you he only does this part time so "perhaps you should find someone else". Seems to care more about making money off of handing out prescriptions for 'band-aids' than treating the underlying condition.

He is absolutely the best doctor! He has helped me where other doctors have failed. I was referred to him after I was discharged from the hospital. He took one look at the medicines I was prescribed and immediately took me off half of them. He explained that one of the medications I was perscribed lowers a person's blood pressure. Since I already have low blood pressure that was a pretty big mistake. I could go on and on about how he has helped me but there's not enough space. He's the best!!!!

I first was treTed by Dr. Pappagallo at Johns Hopkins. I found him to listen to every word I had to say. Dr. Pappagallo came up with numerous things to try for my various injuries & pain issues. I was so happy with the treatment he provided Ibegan flying to NY so I could still be treated by him. I had to stop for a little while due to life issues, but I am making arrangements to to see him again. Dr. Pappagallo is also well known & respected among pain physicians throughout the US & worldwide!

This doctor though nice, did not listen or pay attention as much as I would have liked, considering that he charged a 'non-refundable' $650.00, I expected more, more professionalism as far as finding out their Fax machine was broken for several days & told me on the Saturday when I was suppose to hear my results & they knew what place I was going to, to have my MRI at, & could have easily contacted them seeing as their contact phone numbers are on line, NO they/Debbie is a non caring person!
