I had symptoms that could not be explained that persisted for about 10 years. I saw numerous specialists and primary care physicians. Dr. Dickerson correctly diagnosed that my problem was related to a medication side effect. I have not had a recurrence since I discontinued the medication

He has been my PCP doctor for sometime and I recommended him to my nephews when they moved to Boston. He is a candid and to the point person who seems more like a doctor from years ago. I have seem many doctors for my care through the years and some are the best in their fields. He has always felt like he was telling the truth and he is not afraid to ask you hard questions. Many people are use to socially correct questions, but he will ask you for answers you many not want to say.

Dr. Dickinson canceled general physical appointment without informing me of his need to change or desire not to have a 45 year old [mostly] healthy male as a patient. Still no return phone call or rescheduling. I would rate his quality as a doctor if he did his job, but his quality as a person says it all.

I felt I could not trust Dr Dickinson because I felt in various occasions he was deceiving me. During the last visit I felt Dr Dickinson started asking me weird and unprofessional questions to a point that my wife recommended me to look for another PCP.

Dr. Dickinson is an outstanding physician and along with the dedicated professionals at the MGH Back Bay facility provide an excellent health care experience. Important note: My other doctors (hematology, otolaryngology, etc.) often comment how conscientious and professional my primary care provider is. - That is Dr. Mark Dickinson.
