Don't let him touch you! Simple gall bladder surgery turned into a nightmare. Nicked liver which caused internal bleeding and almost died. Still living with the pain.

I do not recommend Dr. Moniz. I went to see him to review my ct scan and he told me everything looked good and handed me my ct scan report from the radiologist. When I reviewed the report, he neglected to tell me that I had an enlarged liver. Did he read the report??!! This is something that should not be overlooked. I called his office and spoke to him directly expressing my disappointment. I do not trust him and do not recommend him to anyone. There are other surgeons in WIlliamsburg.

I want to say thank you Dr. Moniz for grasping the problem and handling it in the most simplistic and subtle way, possible without adding unnecessary worry, or stress to my already stressful life. Two times I have met with extreme success, dealing with Sentara health systems. Once with open heart surgery and gallbladder surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Moniz and his staff, to all my friends and family and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you Dr. Moniz.
