Dr. Max Hamburger, MD

Arrogant, condescending, and rude. Failed to help my mother, a long-time patient.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Dr. Hamburger. When I first met him he greeted me by looking down at the papers in from of him on his desk. Once in the exam room, I was instructed to remove all clothing execpt my underpants and put on a flimsy gown. For a Rheumatological exam? The next doctor I saw as a first time patient did not require this. Dr. Hamburger did not accurately diagnose my condition (Sjögren's Syndrome). He explained to me that after many years he had recently taken up exercise and that I did not need any medical treatment, but that in order to address my symptoms of pain and extreme fatigue I should simply exercise.

I will never recommend this doctor. I was running 10 minutes late, I called 10 minutes before my appointment to let them know I would be arriving late, they said it was fine. Once I arrived to the office they refused to see me. I informed them that I ran out of my medication and that I just had a baby 2 months ago and have been in a lot of pain I understand I can't be seen I'll come again for a visit but at least give me the meds and they told me NO.
