They call him 'The Best' for a reason
My surgery was 5 months ago – a lung lobectomy with dissection of mediastinal lymph nodes. The surgery was a success, and my recovery was complete and swift. Dr. Lanuti prepared me and my wife well for the physical and emotional challenges ahead. I had been part of a clinical study of a targeted cancer drug (which so far has proven extremely effective), and I was impressed by the fact that Dr. Lanuti clearly welcomed his key, though secondary role in testing the efficacy of this new technology. Following surgery, his confident support when it appeared that I might have residual a-fib (which, thankfully, turned out not to be the case) was also most appreciated. In addition to Dr. Lanuti’s superb care, I want to give a shout-out to his wonderful staff (most notably, Angela Chabot and Kelly Ann Robinson), who responded to an unexpectedly complicated insurance snag, which they solved gladly and with wonderful efficiency. Clearly, the Lanuti team shares the same positive patient care ethic.
