Endless gratitude to the Dr.RAJ GALA The doctor knows how to convey hope, forces, and peace with a communication ethic that reflects only citizenship and safety at work. In my optics, Dr Gala is a model of the doctor, which may not be usual. After I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis couldn't believe that the excruciating pain could go away and I could walk again. I was lucky that I was treated by a golden-hands doctor like Dr. Gala. Dr Gala changed the quality of my life. For me, YOU will remain a great name. Once again, I humbly, appreciate You

Not a happy experience
He was strange during the appointment. His idea to have a side view xray done was helpful however I felt like I was being pressured into having surgery without him explaining details and important facts surrounding such a huge decision. I left feeling like he was demeaning, and pressured to answer right then and there about my agreement to have surgery. I got the sense he is not someone who enjoys dealing with women. I agree with the other comment someone made about how he made issue of my weight also. Left in tears. Glad to not have ever seen him again. SO many other surgeons out there with better bedside manner. Surgery is a HUGE personal choice. Steer clear of this guy!

Waste of time, money and my effort.
Was referred to Dr. Gala for back pain and l think this was due to him being a surgeon new to the area. They need referrals. Dr. Gala's front desk staff couldn't have been more rude. It was as if l wasn't even there. I agree about the surreal amount of paperwork.Dr. Gala was insulting about my weight and showed basically no interest in my pain. I drove an hour to see him, paid a high fee and learned nothing. No suggedtions, no treatment, was rudely judged and treated as inconsequential. Never again.

100% present. Told me information I hadn't learned in 12 years from 3 MRI's. Gave honest opinions and was willing to think outside box for solutions.

Dr. Gala did a spinal fusion because of a painful condition I was experiencing. The results were above my expectations. It resolved my problem and eliminated a very painful condition. Don’t even bother
Very intelligent, but also very rude and insulting. Staff was very icy. The forms your need to fill out are copious , and repetitive. Felt like a final exam, and then the doctor didn’t look at them. I guess he’s as good as any, since today most doctors have no humanity, time or interest.

World Class Doctor
Dr Gala is a works class doctor. He has the rare combination of being a brilliant Surgeon without the typical arrogance but rather with true compassion, humility, excellent bed side manner and an open mind. I was dealing with severe chronic pain & I felt heard & cared for . He gave me the space to make informed decisions in my own way & in my own timing . He partnered with me in finding my way out of CRPS ( a debilitating chronic nerve pain syndrome) . I am eternally grateful that Dr. Gala is an integral part of my team . Thank you for helping me get my life back ! I recommend Dr. Gala without reservation.

Wonderful experience with Connecticut neck and back specialists, from the first visit with Dr. Gala, I felt heard and at ease, Dr. Gala answered all my questions. He was a wonderful surgeon, keeping me informed every step of the way. The staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I was in pain so I appreciated getting a prompt appointment. And because they have the X ray right there, a diagnosis comes more quickly. (he also ordered a follow up MRI). Dr Gala is bright and personable, the office is very clean and the staff is efficient.
