Staff is great. He answered my questions and explained. He’s the first rheumatologist in 20+ years who took the time to listen to what was going on and explained what was causing my complaints. He explained what he was prescribing and why.

He only ever seemed concerned about getting me into a study. He didn't listen to me. When I asked him about doing x-rays (since it is supposed to be part of the diagnostic process for my disease) he asked where I wanted him to x-ray because he didn't see it necessary. When he finally did them, he told me the x-rays showed fusion that I don't have (was confirmed later with an MRI from a new dr). When I told him the meds were causing extreme nausea, he wanted to give me PPI. Even with my chart in hand, he didn't see that I was already on one. His focus wasn't on what was best for me, it was only on finding a way to get me in a study. When I decided to change drs, I could even get copies of my records, no one would call me back. Would not recommend at all.

Second visit today. I can’t recommend enough! He’s highly educated, and trained most rheumatologists in this area. He’s constantly doing clinical trials. Office staff is wonderful

Wait time was long and when I was placed in a room, It was more like a storage closet with boxes and files. My husband accompanied me and was told by nurse he would have to stand because the extra seat in the room belong to Dr. Gupta and he doesn’t like anyone sitting in his chair. When he finally arrived, he didn’t greet us. Due to the room being small, my husband had to stand in the hallway, which I’m assuming made Dr. Gupta think several people were in the room. His first words were, “How many people in the room?” This was my first visit and quite naturally I was nervous. He was extremely short, seemed disconnected and took a personal phone call in the middle of my appointment and didn’t even apologize afterwards. He gave me my diagnosis but did not tell me what it meant or what to expect. He actually told me I just have to accept it and treat it. I do not plan on him being my specialist long term.

Dr. Gupta is WELL STUDIED and PROFESSIONAL. His staff is courteous and those doing interns learn well from one of the best. Thirteen years ago I was in a hopeless state. I was at risk of losing my life and my unborn childs. Through Dr. Guptas wisdom and medical expertise, I am thriving and so is my soon to be teenager! Can not speak more highly of The Guptas!

If only I could select no stars. This is the worst doctor ever. I’ve had a flair up for two months now. The medication he originally prescribed has done nothing and when the flair up began the pain was so terrible...he changed all my prescriptions and put me on a round of steroids which didn’t work. So I called to let him know and he told me there was nothing he could do about it...told me to go to the emergency room. Reported his behavior to the insurance company and changed doctors. Beware

One of the most insensitive, incompassiomate, greedy, nonchalant doctors I have ever seen. He is only in it for the $, charges 65$ to complete fmla paperwork for jobs, charges for visits for refills, did an xray on my hand which still hurts and I had to make appointment just for the results and he still didn't know them and said if it wasn't broken or cancer then you're ok. Never looks at you or eye contact or listens and acts deaf. Stay clear of this incompetent, greedy doctor.

The staff here is horrible and the policies are as well. Whenever you have an issue you have to go in for another office visit even if you just saw the doctor a couple days prior and just need a medicine change. They do not listen to your concerns. No one follows up with your lab results and they just seem like they do not care. Find another Rheumatologist, do not go here or you regret wasting your time.

The office staff is kind and helpful. They will find time to see you with your own schedule. Going slow and taking the time to get detailed answers is where I have found to put my trust and relax. Dr. Gupta asks questions and always listens to any concern. Building a patient /Dr relationship takes time so I know to be ready with any questions I have the next time I have an appointment.

The office staff is wonderful but Dr Gupta doesn't spend enough with you and he just jumps from one med to the next and the problem still isn't resolved. You go back every 4 weeks and you don't get answers. I needed paperwork filled out for work my visit cost me $85.00 because he wouldn't fill it out if I didn't pay. What doctor charges that much? He is only in it for the money. I will never go back. I am currently looking for another doctor.

I'm glad I did not let the reviews posted on here, keep me from seeing Dr. Gupta. I found him extremely intelligent and very knowledgeable about my condition, and the different meds. He answered my questions and explained everything to me.

Dr. Gupta is extremely intelligent and competent. I think the negative reviews on this site are unfair. He is very understanding but I think he, like many scientists, finds it easier to connect with the illness than the patient. Many "nice" doctors only know standard methods and and what pharma reps tell them. They don't treat illnesses, they run businesses that churn patients for profit. If you want to be coddled, go elsewhere. If you want to get well, see Dr Gupta.

I am looking for another Rheumatologist. I have only been seeing him since October 2015. He said my chronic hives is Lupus, but my labs do not support the diagnosis! He refuses to treat me like a person. I have been in the medical field myself for 25 years and he does not like it when you question him! Very hateful. I leave there crying everytime

He is a nice man, however, he does not discuss your condition, test results, or anything with you. He has an attitude of I'm the dr, your the patient. I know what I'm doing and you are incapable of understanding. The office has a trashy, unclean appearance and there are always different staff in the office. You very rarely see the same face twice. Run as fast and far away as you can, even if it means waiting several months to get in to see another dr.
