Bad bad service
These people over schedule and have you wait for 3 plus hours and still have you wait in the room for hours. This was my third and it is ridiculous.. The doctor only spend a few minutes and ran off. This by far is the worst doctors office i have ever been to. Not everyone is old, there some of us who have a job and a life and cannot be sitting around for improper management.

Raul Lopez, went down on my Hydrocone because I was taking 2 klonapin for my massive anxiety attacks that I suffer with. Well he told his nurse partitioner to tell me for me to go down to 1 klonapin a day and he would go up on my Hydrocone to 10.325 Well he lied to me! I did what he wanted and he still didn't put me back on my 10-325 of Hydrocone. His excuse was he wanted me off the klonapin. So he lied to his ex patient which is me. Also he's been wanting to get me out of his office. Well his wish came true. But at least I left on my terms not on his. So I definitely Don't recommend this so call pain dr to anyone. A professional don't lie to his patients!

Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Lopez approaches patients who have chronic pain with compassion and respect. These are sadly, rare qualities in pain management these days. He has tackled my pain issues from many different angles and I’m better for it. I’m so thankful for Dr. Lopez.

Dr. Lopez is indeed an exceptionally good doctor, but the office staff is something else I waited 25 minutes on the phone to cancel my appointment. My sciatic was bad on that day and I could not drive, I had to hang up and would try them later. About an hour later they called me to see about my missed appointment after I explained they gave me an appointment for 2days later.

Not great for my history
Doctors say just call. Front desk reps don't let me through. No advice nurse on staff. Appointments mysteriously cancelled, not by my doing. As a retired disabled medical professional myself, I am apparently continually able to communicate the seriousness of my condition, nor do they seem to have the level of caliber required to properly understand my medical history, the severity of my case, and the awful sequelae of my long list of numerous diagnoses. I will soon need to be moving on.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER
My mother had a 2:45 p.m. appointment we arrived 20 mins before so we could get out sooner instead they ask my mom for a urine sample after 1 hour after that they put us in a wating room ABANDONING us for 2 hours we asking we keep asking are almost next the only reply that we get was is 1 patient ahead you are next but the never happened we didn't even talk to the doctor at 4:54 we decide to go home exactly when we were half way home we received a call at 5:08 Dr. Office after hours asking me for my mother and letting me know that the doctor was ready to see her even when I advice my mother is a DYALISIS PATIENT, WITH ANXIETY & DEPRESSION ATTACKS for the reason we can't be waiting for long periods of time it seems that they don't care for they patients health and wating time. In my opinion don't waste your time going to this place

Sat 2 hours, talked a few minutes, looked at MRI I had for my neck and scheduled a appointment for an injection for pain. Had a conflict with cataract surgery, had to postpone a couple months. NOW, they want me to pay for another visit before they schedule the injection. NOTHING has changed, if I needed the shot a couple months ago, I still need it! They just want to charge me for another office visit. Also paid all that money for the MRI. They are Not interested in helping me, just money! So typical.

Dr. Is very personable & good. However, office management is below par and reaching them on the phone is awful- every phone message box is not set up or is full. Call back to patient is poor. People are nice but office could definitely be run better. Communication by staff to in-coming patients is poor. Also, tried to set up my portal but information was incorrect. No one called me back to help. I had 3 apts. set up but young lady at desk on computer didn't know.

Dr. Raul Lopez has been my Pain Management Provider for the past two years. After running the gambit of pain management physicians in El Paso, I happened upon him in a computer search of pain management providers in El Paso. Meeting him was a pleasure and a blessing because before I did all I would receive from physicians was a prescription and referral for more MRI's or CT Scans. He simply asked for my most recent tests and started from there. When Cortisone Injections along with pain medications did work , he referred me out for a surgery evaluation, when the joint fusion recommended did not solve the problem, He referred me out for evaluation for a Spinal Fusion Stimulator, this along with a reduction in pain medication has calmed the storm in my back and I am on the road to reclaiming my life. Dr. Lopez is a patients doctor and he doe's what he says the first day he meets you when he simply says, "we are here for you and we will do everything we can to help you". He has stood true.

I've only seen Dr Lopez twice, but he seems very thorough. He is professional and caring. His staff is A+. He actually listens, and if he wants more information than you have given him, he words his request in a way that you can easily understand - without making you feel inferior. I would definitely recommend Dr Lopez.

I have exhausted my patience with this company. They charge you to get a summary of your visit, and when I saw a copy half of what they said transpired during our visit never happened. I work for a company who uses the same electronic system and we let patients access their visit summary free of charge, In fact we print it for them at the time of discharge. I recently forgot my health savings card at time of visit and needed an itemized bill to turn in for reimbursement it cost me $15.
