Lacks empathy & no bedside manner
She made me extremely uncomfortable while I was in labor due to lack of empathy. She ignored my concerns and repeatedly disregarded my symptoms (symptoms for which her colleagues had admitted me for in the first place). I'm sure she is a competent physician but needs to work on her bedside manner.

She avoided all my concerns and didn’t know anything medical related to what I was going through.

How is she qualified?
Zero bedside manners. Can’t answer basic pregnancy questions without constantly providing disclaimers. Overlooked patient history and proposed inaccurate procedure as a result. Luckily, we reminded her.

Compassionate and easygoing
Dr. Van Sanford listens to all of my concerns and has a friendly style. She is up to date on evidence-based medicine and is realistic regarding prenatal concerns and decision-making. I feel listened to and respected.
