I am going to try and be be very fair with this comment. I was a very satisfied patient for a few years before having to leave, due to a change in my medical coverage that put Dr. Byers out-of-network. Once he was back in my network, I called to schedule an appointment, which was made without a problem. However, 6 weeks later when I called to reschedule (due to COVID-19), I was informed that he was no longer taking new patients, that the appointment should not have been made and that the scheduled appointment would no longer be honored. Now I need a physician's input and I've lost 6 weeks waiting for an appointment that no longer exists. Based on this experience, I would highly suggest scrutiny over office staff procedures.

Have been fortunate to have him as our primary care physician for over twenty years. He is caring, an excellent diagnostician, current on the issues, and explains things very well. He has a great sense of humor and an outstanding memory. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Byers is an outstanding communicator and practitioner of his art. He has almost total recall- remembering things even I had forgotten. I’ve been hospitalized several times & he never leaves you to a hospitality. He’s compassionate, and generous with his time. He listens. His PA, colleagues, and hospital nurses respect him. His staff has been with him for decades- until recently when 2 retired. He has a great sense of humor too. I feel very fortunate I’ve had him for 25 plus years.

Dr Byers is an excellent diagnostician. He explains everything clearly and in depth, he listens well to his patients, and is very caring. There isn't any other physician I trust as much as I trust him.

Dr. Byers did not help me properly address a chronic problem I was having so I ended up in the hospital. On occasion him and his staff were either very inappropriate or rude.
