Fat Phobic
Came in to discuss a knee surgery. He said that my pain was not from my torn and missing ligaments, but because I am fat. Started talking about a gastric bypass instead of my damaged knee. Wouldn't listen to the fact that I injured my knee playing a full contact sport. Utterly disrespectful and not responsive to a patients feelings or needs. He said I couldn't have the surgery because I was too fat, talked about doing a gastric bypass, and wouldn't hear anything more about it. Never even said if he would consider the surgery if I wasn't overweight.

Dr. Hoellrich is a fantastic surgeon, very professional and thorough. I had a reverse total shoulder replacement with very little pain. I would highly recommend him and his staff as they all are friendly and compassionate.

He is so very knowledgeable, professional and an outstanding surgeon. He has replaced both shoulders on my husband and one on my brother. He will repair my torn rotator cuff in the near future. He is the only one that I would let operate on me. I can’t say enough good things about his skills. Slocum Orthopedics has many gifted surgeons.

Absolutely refer this Doctor. I had complete shoulder replacement and I didn’t need drugs for pain, because I had none. I was ready to go back to work part time but needed to heal so I went back as soon as he released me. My therapist said I was way ahead of the game; mainly because of the Doctor I had. He’s all work and that’s good for me. I appreciate him 100%

Love this doctor , I’m four weeks out of a complete shoulder replacment , he’s great! My shoulder is still in a sling , he likes 6 weeks in sling with PT with no real use until healed , I’m pain free after 8 years of constant unbearable pain befor the surgery . he is communicated very well each step and is very expierienced. I had a doctor in an urgent care recommend him to me me that had used him himself , my lucky day I say , very happy with dr hoellrich ,
