Respectful, knowledgeable, down to earth, caring. He sees patients all day long and no matter what, is always attentive, present, thoughtful, and caring.

I went there for severe left shoulder pain. I saw him for approximately 4-5 minutes. As usual he ordered an MRI. it took me a month to get an appointment. When the results came back, he wrote… “Shoulder impingement see orthopedic.”I refused. I am a critical care patient with a severe lung disease. He knows this. I have been through orthopedics many times. They either offer steroid injections or physical therapy. I cannot tolerate steroids because I have no immune system left. Also, a few years ago, I had the same issue but it was my right shoulder. He sent me to PT and they were astonished that I was there because I had a labral tear of my right shoulder and I had surgery to repair it. They could not help me. He once told me “ sorry sista, you will suffer”. How very kind. To leave somebody who is already in so much pain and now with a shoulder that I can’t use, I am seriously disgusted.It’s OK I finally learned my lesson and I will never go back.

Extremely informative and hears what you have to say or ask....as usual an awesome knowledgeable Doctor! I highly recommend him!

Dr Varma has a calm yet funny demeanor. He is realistic in his diagnosis but very positive. He gives you attainable goals and encourages you to be independent and proactive in your own health journey.

He is very engaged in his patient's care, He listens closely to his patient and offers both the medical expertise and personal encouragement to his patient in reaching their goals to have a better quality life. He is also a very upbeat and positive person; it is hard to not leave his office with a smile .

Dr. Varma is very patient and i have been seeing him for a couple of years, i pretty much listen and do what he asks and we agree on the route that we are on as far as the treatments, Best Dr. around i look forward to every visit for his expertise.

Dr. Varma is one of the best doctors I have ever had that has treated my arthritis. He is kind and answers all of my questions. I absolutely recommend him to anyone that has arthritis.

Always listens, seeks answers and shares insight regarding the patient’s illness. Shows empathy and concern and is very knowledgeable in his field. Tries to minimize pain and offers suggestions in how to do so. Only setback is scheduling appointments since everyone wants to see him, although so far, I’ve managed to schedule when needed.

While the referral took a while, my first appointment with Dr Varma went very well. He he was thorough and addressed areas of concern. He also suggested exercise I could do at home that would be helpful. Dr Varma has a straight forward manner and terrific sense of humor which I greatly appreciate.

Dr. Varma is awesome. He’s always cheerful, has a great personality and explains everything thoroughly. I can say he is my favorite doctor of all time! I wish all my doctors ere more like him. Very caring and always pleasant.
