Dr. Sachedina, D.O, FACOS is my Advocate!
I remember Dr. Sachedina greeting me and ‘educating me about my abnormal mammogram first.’ She focused on one wall chart that showed an expanded view of the breast lobe and she stepped me through where the abnormality was. Dr. Sachedina calmed me down by explaining that people do not die from this, but I still had decisions to make and needed to understand the process. She provided me with a specialized care team, which included Dr. Sachedina, her staff, radiologists, oncologists, and a plastic surgeon. Anyone can understand the complexities of a treatment involving multiple doctors, at multiple locations over many weeks. Dr. Sachedina drove the process, and at any sign of a scheduling delay, she stepped in. Any time I did not understand what was going on she explained it in a way I understood it. I truly appreciate her being my advocate! Because of this care team, I was able to make an ‘informed decision.’ Dr. Sachedina is the best and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Sachedina is good but the office is lacking
Admin staff refused to call my new insurance provider to validate if I was covered for my appointment after my insurance changed in the new year. Before switching I confirmed with the insurance company that Dr. S's office was covered. I was able to show proof on the insurance company website that Dr. S was in network. I was then told by the administrator that she would not call the insurance to validate due to it being Friday and wait times being too long. My options given to me at that point were to either reschedule my appointment or pay out of pocket. When I requested they call the insurance company, I was then told that the manager of the facility would not "be on hold for 3 hours on a Friday". No one ever called the insurance company. I called after leaving the office and was on hold for only 7 minutes before a rep got to me and confirmed I was correct. Not sure how to proceed at this point to get the staff to help me. I will most likely find a new provider due to this issue.

I have been going to Dr. Sacedina's office for several years (extremely dense breast tissue) which makes diagnostics a nightmare. She and her staff have been nothing but nice and supportive. Finding out more family history she highly recommended genetic testing. I am so thankful she did, we are now onto preventative maintenance for several gene mutations that can cause cancer and I have been diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome. I would have never known until it was probably too late. I am now taking care of everything I need to so I can stay healthy and not undergo Chemo or Radiation if I can avoid it with the treatment plans I make with all my new friendly doctors.

I went in for a mammogram as a new patient. I was there for over an hour and left without getting a mammogram. I was told I didn't have an appointment when I actually had two email confirmations. I was asked to wait while they tried to work me in. I finally left after I was told they didn't have the dr referral. When I called my PCP they said they sent it over. After a few phone calls it turns out it is the billing codes that they needed. Not sure how my PCP would have those as I was just trying to get a mammogram. Later in the day I got a call that I could reschedule; however at this point I am not confident in the process. I have heard very positive things about Dr. Sacheldina; however I have never had so much trouble trying to get a mammograms.

Have been seeing this doctor since 2016 when she started following me for two different gene mutations putting me at high risk for breast cancer. Have been going every six months for follow-up appointments ever since she performed a double mastectomy flawlessly with quick recovery. Wonderful doctor with great staff in her clinic.

I've been seeing dr. Sachedina for at least 20 years. The first time I went in there was an absolute emergency I had five or cystic breasts and I felt like my breast was going to explode. Within minutes of my arrival she aspirated I think it was 3 1/2 cc's of liquid from my breast. I had immediate relief after suffering for weeks with the pain. It was like pulling teeth to get my family doctor to refer me to a specialist. I actually got an appointment ASAP with Dr sachedina. I had to go back to my doctor and sit at his doorstep before the office opened to give me a referral for an appointment I had set up with Dr sachedina. She gets 10 stars from me!!!

What happens when your breast imaging come back suspicious? You go see Dr. Sachedina at Central Florida Breast Center!!! This was my situation at least. And yes, unfortunately, it was breast cancer. I was in good hands though. Dr. Sachedina provides soothing patient education, an excellent bedside manner, and expert surgical expertise. She is highly respected by all those who she referred me to and she keeps the process moving fast. No stone left unturned and nothing falls through the cracks. My PCP gave me a list of breast specialists when concerns arose, and I will be forever grateful that the stars aligned and directed me here. Please note, Central Florida Breast Center provides a variety of services and offers onsite imaging services. Dr. Sachedina has a team of ARNP's and PA's to assist her and to complete appointments that are not of an acute nature. I hope you never have an urgent need that requires her services, but if you do, you'll be in the best of hands!

I'm not a fan of my every 6 months mammograms, the institution of them led to my diagnosis of Stage 0 DCIS cancer. Dr. Sachedina did all the right steps to confirm my diagnosis and scheduled me for my lumpectomy. Today I am cancer free and scheduling radiation. Great bedside manner. Friendly staff. My only complaint is if coming in for pre-op appointment is no charge the day before surgery vs. a copay a week before, I should be given that option up front. Dr. Sachedina is the BEST!!

I like the doctor and staff, except I have issues with her billing department. They routinely overcharge me for my visits, then either keep the overpayment until next time without telling me they are doing so, or offer to write me a refund, but will charge me a 5% fee to do so. That seems like writing yourself a free loan to me. It's just wrong.
