Dr. Sherry Phippen-Gesualdi, MD

If I could provide Dr. Phippen with 0 stars I absolutely would. She is condescending and likes to make generalizations about patients without actually talking to the patient first. If you are a fat person, as I am, please save yourself the absolute embarrassment of having a doctor fat shame you and tell you that the issues you are experiencing are because of how fat you are. For instance, instead of actually asking me questions she informed me that my recurrent hernia was because of my weight when in reality it was a weightlifting related injury, the first hernia was from a traumatic c-section, SURPRISE SURPRISE not obesity related at all. She refused to actually access, or do a physical examination on my abdomen at all. After she mentioned my weight no less than a dozen times and I explained to her that I eat healthy and extensively weight lift 6 times per week she acted surprised, and if she would have actually viewed my chart instead of just reading my weight at the top she would ha

Dr. Phippen is a gifted surgeon, plus she has a heart of gold. She truly cares about her patients and follows up. I have had several procedures and would highly recommend her!

I wouldn’t recommend Dr Phippen, I done prep, set in room for a 4 hour wait. No one came to check on me . Just let me set for four hours. I finally got tired of waiting, hadn’t eat for 36 hrs. I had to leave. I find out she makes her patient wait ,and don’t even show up for work some days.

Excellent Doctor. She and her staff are caring and competent. They take the time to interview the patient and explain treatment options and expected outcomes and works hard to achieve the best results following surgery.
