Dr. Mukai is THE BEST!!!! We absolutely love him. He is an exceptionally phenomenal doctor. We were so lucky and blessed to have him oversee my son's care for a rare genetic eye disease called Coat's Disease. My son has been under his care since he was in 5th grade and is now a freshman in college! He is kind, compassionate and a brilliant man! We are thankful for him!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mukai and his team for 5 years, since I’ve had vitreous detachment in both eyes. He and his team are amazing, among the best in their field in the country. Easy to talk to as well. My eyes are healthier because of their care.

I feel fortunate to have Dr. Mukai as my retinal specialist. He is both a superb surgeon and a compassionate care-provider. While his practice is busy, often due to emergencies, he always takes the time to answer any and all questions. If you require retinal care, he is the best.

Dr Mukai is always ready to attend to my questions/fears right from my first visit almost two years ago. He always wanted to know how I felt since my last visit. He patiently explained the procedure he was about to take. This helped me to be aware of what to expect and, at the end he asked how I felt, and advised that if I ever felt any pain or discomort should not hesitate to call.
