Instead of listening, dismissed me and referred to psychiatrist. Because women are crazy I guess.

Dr. Shrinath has terrible bedside manner. She does not listen to her patients' needs and would rather yell at them than support as a good doctor should. Makes patients feel rushed during the appointment and discredits your feelings especially when it comes to mental health. DO NOT see this provider.

Dr. Shrinath is the first doctor ever to not scare me unnecessarily about my weight. I have always been "overweight", and when I expressed interest in losing weight she 1. assured me the way our society currently views weight is unhelpful and particularly damaging to women and 2. helped me check my thyroid and any other causes for my inability to lose weight. I cannot stress enough how supportive she was; for the first time in 25 years I was treated as a patient with concerns and not just brushed off because of my bmi. She actively heard all my concerns and helped me address them in a practical way

Dr. Shrinath has terrible bedside manners. She is dismissive of my concerns, has accused me of lying about the severity of my menstrual cramps and PCOS symptoms and failed to find record of a vaginal ultrasound that I underwent at the time of my PCOS diagnosis. Even another specialist that I saw a few days later said she could tell by the notes Dr. Shrinath left on my records that we had a bad session. I never want to see this wretched woman again in my life. I went with her because she was the only doctor who had available slots for new patients, and I can imagine why. DO NOT go to her even if she is the last available doctor at her location, especially if you are a woman with Endo, PCOS, or other reproductive issues and you are sensitive or stressed out about the effect it has on your life. You are better off going to a different hospital all together.

Never again her patient – Jan 18, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Shrinath?
I have been a patient of Dr. Shrinath since September and have already had to see her 3 times. The 1st time she was over 40 minutes late (the front desk told me this is typical of her). The other times she was only 25 minutes late. Everytime I go there I get referred to another doctor BUT she can’t just give me a referral on by calling in, I have to see her first. It’s been 3 days and I am still waiting for a call back on a referral for severe allergy symptoms... is she waiting for me to die?

This doctor put fear in me unnecessarily around a problem that I'm having. Other specialists have been far better. I would not recommend Dr. Shrinath, and will be looking for a new PCP.

She does not listen and always felt I was a bothe when meeting with her for basic medical needs. She may be burned out or just sloppy. Also she talks negatively and gossips a lot. Sloppy in her work and may need a break. She refers out for everything. Know you are a paycheck and not a patient.

I enjoy Dr. Shrinath very much. She's non-judgmental and honest. I recently found something I was concerned about and she reviewed the issue, was very thorough, reassuring and made sure I was comfortable with the outcome before leaving. Aside from her skills as a doctor, I find her to be very warm and kind as a doctor!

She doesn't listen and is distracted and rushes through the appointment. It's frustrating to not be seen or heard by a pcp and feel like just a dollar sign. She needs to take a break and come back w some compassion.

recently met w her for physical after my 3rd pcp left Harvard vanguard. She is distracted, does not listen and felt like I was bothering her coming for annual physical. I'm relatively healthy and that may be reason for her rushed and appearing uninterested. I won't go back and frustrated with myself for going to her a second time when this was t experience first time meeting with her.

I met with Dr Shrinath for the first time yesterday and found her very attentive, knowledgeable and warm. She was thorough as we went over my medical history and current questions. I was so happy to connect with a primary care who gave me good referrals and guidance. I also love the Copley Square offices of Harvard Vanguard-- so convenient if you live in the city and the staff are all wonderful.

I was shocked to see the negative reviews here for Dr. Shrinath. I've been a patient of hers for two years now and have seen her for both routine and acute care. I appreciate the time she takes to listen and ask questions and how she involves me in the decision-making process. She's also very friendly and follows up with questions about my family and things I mentioned at the last appointment.

Dr. Shrinath has been me and my partner's PCP for a few years now and we really like her. She advicates for you, has an excellent bedside manner, and cares about her patients. She is matter of fact and doesn't let you joke around the issues. I appreciate this. It shows that she cares about your health. The staff is hit or miss with competence, but I don't judge her for this.

Dr. Shrinath is the doctor you want if you like to be the one to name what treatment or medication you want. I am no doctor and if I make an apt I expect the expert, my doctor, to offer me treatment options and recommendations that I can evaluate wither. I cannot answer the question What do you want to do? as I did not go to med school. I try to come prepare with a list of questions so I dont forget anything and need to return. She once asked if I was done with my questions bc she was busy
