was 6 months pregnant when my husband and I found out our son had Gastroschesis and would need surgery after birth. We were worried, sad, and frightened. We met with Dr. Fairbanks about a month later and he explained all the details about the surgery and recovery process. The day we had our son Dr. Fairbanks performed surgery and everything went very well. We were in the NICU for 7 weeks. We are very grateful to God and to the team at Rady's for helping our son. Dr. Fairbanks is a GREAT surgeon

Dr. Fairbanks is simply amazing! He is a brilliant talented surgeon. He is supportive, caring and beyond everything else, trustworthy! As anxious parents, trying to choose a surgeon for your baby and trust that your decision is correct, you can be confident in choosing Dr. Fairbanks as the far best choice for your child. His surgically skills are impeccable and his mind is exceptional. This man is truly gifted and talented. All of the nurses agreed and reassured us that he is THE best.
