Dismissive
This doctor wouldn't hear me out or take my concerns seriously. I kept getting cut off despite being visibly distressed. I had to remind him to go over the x-rays he ordered me. Definitely some booking issues too, my follow up rheumatology appointment was dropped from the schedule.

Dr. not interested in Rheumatology patients
This was a decent practice until the doctor decided to add cosmetic procedures as a side hustle. The practice could not retain the best employees over time. The rheumatologist was good, until he wasn’t. You rarely see him in the rheumatology office and he isn’t too interested in rheumatology patients anymore. The level of care I received greatly declined over years, along with the doctor’s patience and willingness to help beyond the basic and routine level of care that he expected every patient to adhere to, without exception or room for individual concerns. Questions and feedback were not encouraged or dismissed. It was very unprofessional and disappointing to repeatedly schedule an appointment to see the doctor, months in advance, only to be pushed off to a PA on the appointment day, with no prior notice or explanation. As a long time patient, with several autoimmune diseases, I was let down and lost trust in the rheumatologist who was no longer on rheumatology.

Dr Mir is simply the best
I've been seeing Dr. Mir for years and had a very difficult case. I'd seen other renowned doctors and took my time deciding who was right for me. Dr. Mir is methodical, honest and deeply caring, and committed to offering the best-integrated care which is so needed and yet so rare in the space. If you're looking for a doctor who cares and who is committed to truly helping you be the healthiest version of yourself, he's your doctor.

The rating is for the front office staff and the fact that every single time I’ve left a message on the machine, which has been about 6 times for the initial matter, I never receive a call back. I’ve had to leave several messages after the initial message which brings the amount I end up calling to over 15 at least. I call different times and days until I reach a person. They are very nice and helpful when they do pick up the phone. Alexandra Karl is wonderful, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t tolerate this issue.

Dr Mir has a poor bedside manner. He almost seems disinterested in hearing one' symptoms. I'd look elsewhere for a rheumatologist. Also without proper diagnose, he prescribed very toxic drugs that made me more sick

Open-minded and good at listening. Constantly learning and seeking new solutions. What more can you ask for from a doctor? He doesn't rush you out, he takes detailed notes, and is always open to trying something new or offering alternatives instead of writing an instant RX. He doesn't try to make you come in unnecessarily, too, saving you the co-pays. Flexible payments, friendly staff, typically short wait time, and night hours further justify the full 5 stars.

Excellent Care. Helped with my Arthritis; so I referred someone else and he too said Dr Mir was a big help in relieving pain. Also the office and staff and great and short wait time. I give them the highest rating!

Useless. The first visit he seemed very caring and wanting to help, after that he didn't care about me at all. Only wanted a paycheck. He never checked my follow up blood work so I went to another doctor and found out that the medicine he put me on is damaging my liver!

I limped into Dr. Mir's office suffering from painful arthritis in my knee. Never having experienced this type of joint pain, I was fearful & confused. Dr. Mir's calming demeanor quickly put me at ease answering questions & calming my fears. I walked out confidently for X-Rays around the corner. On my next visit he gave me an injection that was virtually painless. I'd heard horror stories of doctors painfully missing joint. Dr. Mir has proven highly skilled. I've since received 2 more painlessly

I have been suffering from debilitating migraines for years. I've seen plenty of specialists to try to get my constant pain under control and never had any luck. After asking around for some alternative therapies, a friend referred me to Dr. Mir and I couldn't be happier. I came in to get acupuncture and and I'm so relieved that my migraines are finally going away. Dr. Mir is extremely knowledgeable and all of his staff are very sweet and accommodating.

I originally saw Dr. Mir due to hip pain. He was very helpful in assessing the source of the pain and offering treatment that enabled me to avoid surgery. I am returning to him now with shoulder pain, because I trust him to work with me to develop an effective treatment plan.
