He suggested I taked the exact medication to which I have an allergy. That tells me he's not even looking at the file or listening to his patient.

I'm unfamiliar with Texas prescribing laws, but I was trying to get established as a new patient and get refills on my daily medications. Dr. Medrano treated me like a pill addict and refused to fill one of my prescriptions. He didn't even ask about any of my symptoms. He just automatically said “I’m not refilling that” and criticized and demeaned me for having taken an “addictive” pill for so long. I left the office in tears with how he treated me. He was nice, courteous, and thorough. He asked appropriate questions and provided a good treatment plan that he discussed with me. Overall a very positive experience

I would strongly advise you not to see this doctor. When I saw him, he walked in and started chewing me out about my condition without listening to my attempts to improve. He gave me a long speech and I felt horrible. Save yourself the frustration and embarrassment, do not see this doctor! Dr. Medrano is not approachable and does not make eye contact, he is frustrated with sick people!
