Amazing
I started seeing her in October 2024 at the westcare clinic in Renton. Dr.Chen made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She is a amazing person, caring, and kind. I would recommend her to anyone. I wish she was my primary doctor.

A great provider with caring heart
I have been a patient at this pain clinic for several years. My doctor recently left without notice, and Dr. Chen had to take over all his patients in addition to her own. Despite the massive workload (the receptionist mentioned she sees over 50 patients a day), she was incredibly kind and efficient. Some of the transferred patients were complaining that she didn’t have enough time to talk to them. What? She has no obligation to take on another provider's patients, especially when her schedule is already full. People should be more appreciative. I am very thankful to have met such a knowledgeable and caring doctor.

Gaslighting
Dr Chen is guilty of all the negative attributes that make patients afraid to seek medical help. She ignores, gaslights, lies. She’s dismissive, rude, and disrespectful. I would rather receive no help at all.

Since a young age, I've always been in pain. I feel much better since seeing Dr Chen. I truly appreciate the way I am being taken care of. I've never had anyone in my life in the medical industry take me seriously enough about my pain to realize that I wasn't trying to work the system for any particular reason. I am simply in pain. I feel much better everyday now after the treatment. I feel being respected and listened to.

I hate my pain, but love to see my doctor. She is very kind and has excellent expertise. She does injections very gently, totally different compared with the painful experience I had with my old doctor...

Very caring doc... I am having lots of health issues recently with blood clots, multiple mini heart attacks and possible cancer diagnosis... each time when I visit the clinic, she always spends extra time with me to answer my questions and  adjust my pain medications. I am sleeping well and my pain is decently controlled. I am very thankful!

I was referred to Dr Chen for a stimulator reposition. The device was initially placed 8 years ago and now needs a new battery. In addition the lead needs to be repositioned. Dr Chen did an excellent revision for me with super smooth surgery and fast recovery. I am totally satisfied with the result!

When people come here they are obviously in pain and irritable, which would make it challenging for any pain doc. Dr Chen is always friendly and caring, greeting me with respect and outlining the treatment plan thoroughly. Her positive attitude helps me feel being cared for. I had very good relief after several different injections. I highly recommend this office for anyone who is in pain and needs help.

I am very grateful to Dr Chen! I was born with scoliosis. This wasn't obvious until age 55. I was having difficulty with daily life. I couldn't play with my grandchildren...totally devastating. Dr Chen recommended spinal stimulator, an absolute miracle. My pain is no longer bothering me anymore. She is a true patient oriented professional. If ever I need any other pain advice, Dr Chen is my go to!

My previous doctor left the office unexpectedly and did not give me any notice. I was abandoned. Other physicians in the clinic are not willing to take me. I was referred to Dr. Chen to continue care due to her expertise. She is very caring and professional. She does not judge people and treats me with full respect. Because I like the interaction with her, I started to work with Dr Chen to taper my medication. I am currently taking much less dosage compared with before and I felt my mind is a lot clear! My hubby and I both see her. The whole experience is a total blessing! I wish I came to her earlier.

I have horrible horrible neuropathy pain. Over many years, I have seen a dozen physicians including neurologist and surgeon. My condition was so severe to the point that I don't want to live anymore. On top of this, I am limited to treatments like injections and surgery due to osteoporosis. It turned out that my Gabapentin dosage is not optimized even after seeing so many physicians. Dr Chen takes extra time to adjust my Gabapentin dosage. She also has a lot of knowledge about Gralise. My previous physician had me on the wrong dosing. The two medications are not supposed to be used together. She corrected everything. My pain is at least tolerable now. She is a VERY CARING doc!!!

I felt like a broke down car that the mechanic didn’t feel like working on. After reviewing my records done by other physicians, she said my pain symptoms weren’t consistent with previous test and possible diagnosis. She told me “sorry, I dont know what’s wrong with you. Sorry I couldn’t help”. A complete waste of time and money!!!
