Dr. Kathy Fresquez-Chavez, DNP

Dr. Kathy Fresquez is the most caring doctor I have ever seen. During Covid, while many physicians were not taking patients she continued to treat and help sick patients (including Covid) patients. She truly cares!

My one and only visit with her, She said she was willing to taper me off of years of benzos but when it came down to it , was more about her way and not me and what was comfortable for me as the patient. She made it very clear to me she was more into my husband ! And when certain questions were asked instead of believing me or taking my word it was directed to my husband is she really??? I find her to be very unprofessional! We both went in the same day to have our appointments instead of seeing us a separately she seen us both together. Therefore our appointments were rushed my My husband's prescriptions were supposed to be called in on the 12th here it is the 16th got some of his prescriptions in and yet they still weren't called in correctly She was super nice to my husband but Not as nice to me still wouldn't take him off one of the medications he was asking for. Shouldn't the patient come first ?Not the doctor ! So today my husband and I have done away with her and her staff , jumping through hoops we've had to jump through since the 12th has been absolutely ridiculous and no doctor should make the patient feel as uncomfortable as she did me! I am happy to report I will be seeing a doctor who has been in practice for 22 years and actually knows her stuff and isn't going to push me into a taper that will cause me to have seizures considering I am an epileptic and she was told this but didn't take that in consideration at all!!! It was her way or the highway and that is no way to doctor your patience!

I went to kathy for many years, first off you only see her once in awhile because she has other doctors take on her patients all the time. These doctors dont communicate with her or vice versa because everytime i went i got different answers to the same issues. The last year of going to her i was dealing with a lot of pain and some other scary health stuff, which was brushed off everytime, i wound up crying in the office because the doctor told me their was nothing she could do for my pain. Everytime i went i was told my symptoms could be anything and left at that. So i left her office found a new doctor and started trying to heal myself found out i had meneres disease, a food allergy, and was having a bad reaction to a medication she put me on. I am not 100% better but i am healthier than when i went to her. At least people are now listening to my concerns and helping me instead of brushing them off.

After multiple appointments I was diagnosed with a rare lung disease. I found a new doctor and was properly diagnosed with Acid Reflux Disease. This facility has also sent me to collections when they never billed the insurance on file, nor contacted me, even though they have my mailing address, phone and email address on file. I do not recommend this doctor or medical facility.

I've had Cathy it's my doctor many a years she is the best doctor I ever had. Always listens very compassionate.

She would not listen to me. And would rather discharge me than address problems at her office. She called the cops on me for my mental state but didn't care enough to actually help me.

This Nurse Practitioner misdiagnosed me and caused me to have to have unnecessary surgery. You are Fired. Talk to my lawyers.
