Biography: Dr. Wingfield joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in July 2010. A Graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and General Cardiology training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Drexel University College of Medicine - Hahnemann University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He returned to New York Presbyterian Hospital for Interventional Cardiology training. Dr. Wingfield helped establish Hamilton Cardiology Associates IAC Accreditation Vascular Ultrasound Lab and has been the Medical Director since 2011. In addition, to the St. Francis Medical Center Vascular Lab where he had been the Medical Director 2016-2022. Dr. Wingfield is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. In addition, he completed Level II training in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography. His areas of focus include Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease. Dr. Wingfield is the current President of the Medical Staff, Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Chairman of the PCI Task Force and serves as a member of the Medical Executive Committee, the Credentialing Committee, Medicine Peer Review, Medical Quality Council, and Utilization Review at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Hamilton. He was previously the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and Secretary/Treasurer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
