Biography: Dr. Katherine Husk is a board-certified Urogynecologist, specializing in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, including care for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence/accidental bowel leakage, bladder pain, pelvic pain, and urinary, and bowel dysfunction. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for these conditions, including non-surgical management, office-based procedures, and a range of surgical approaches including robotic, abdominal, and vaginal with both native-tissue and mesh augmented surgeries.Dr. Husk has a particular interest in medical education and completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions program which included a focused track in education research. Biography: Dr. Jeff Lin received his college and medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, underwent residency training at NewYork-Presybterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College here in New York, and then completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.After training, Dr. Lin entered private practice in the Silicon Valley (even participated in an early-stage biotech start-up!). He then returned to academia at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California, honing and expanding hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) techniques and surgical approaches, and he is now returning to Weill Cornell Medicine. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lin aims to bring his expertise in avant garde surgical techniques and treatment options, such HIPEC, to serve the patients at Cornell. Biography: Iyana Whyte, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital. She is highly dedicated to providing a full spectrum of women's healthcare by treating women of all ages, from pre-teen to post-menopause, and providing routine examinations, treatment of gynecologic conditions, contraceptive counseling, onsite ultrasounds, and pregnancy care. Lauren began her career in marketing and grant writing, and received a degree from the University of Maryland, as part of the College Park Scholars Program. Biography: Dr. Lauren M. Osborne graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College and received her training at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute. She completed both clinical and research fellowships in women's mental health and is an expert on the diagnosis and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy, the postpartum, the premenstrual period, and perimenopause.Dr. Osborne serves as the Vice Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research focuses on the biological mechanisms of perinatal mental illness, with a focus on neurosteroids and the immune system, and she runs the PIPPI Lab Psychoneuroimmunology in Pregnancy and Postpartum at Weill Cornell Medicine.
