Biography: Dr. Eung-Mi Lee is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with advanced specialist training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Having spent her formative educational years at both a large health safety net hospital and a large tertiary care referral center, she is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for complex benign gynecologic conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal uterine bleeding, and Mullerian anomalies. In particular, she is interested in caring for patients with endometriosis, a condition that often involves a delayed diagnosis and may cause debilitating pain and greatly impact quality of life.Dr. Lee received her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed a joint MBA at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She completed her residency training at Boston Medical Center, followed by an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Magee Womens Hospital. Biography: Dr. Jeff Lin received his college and medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, underwent residency training at NewYork-Presybterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College here in New York, and then completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.After training, Dr. Lin entered private practice in the Silicon Valley (even participated in an early-stage biotech start-up!). He then returned to academia at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California, honing and expanding hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) techniques and surgical approaches, and he is now returning to Weill Cornell Medicine. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lin aims to bring his expertise in avant garde surgical techniques and treatment options, such HIPEC, to serve the patients at Cornell. Biography: Dr. Steven Sheng was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to the United States as a child, where he grew up on Long Island, New York. After completing his primary education, Dr. Sheng went on to George Washington University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy while also obtaining a minor in Biological Sciences. After his undergraduate program, Dr. Sheng went on to serve in the New York Teaching Fellows program, where he was an educator in New York City for two years. Dr. Sheng completed the program while earning his Masters in Education from Queens College. Dr. Sheng then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheng completed his residency as a Chief Resident at The Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.Dr. Sheng is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care in both general and high-risk obstetrics. Biography: Dr. Cynthia Arvizo is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with expertise in the treatment of bleeding disorders, pelvic pain, and anatomic causes of infertility. She specializes in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical approaches, including office hysteroscopy, for the management of fibroids, polyps, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, uterine septa, scar tissue in the uterus, and endometriosis.Dr. Arvizo received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Biography: Dr. David E.Reichman is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine of Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist who graduated Cum Laude from Yale University, received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, and completed residency in OB/GYN at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Reichman then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is a double board-certified in both ob/gyn and reproductive endocrinology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.Dr. Reichman has received numerous awards for his clinical excellence, surgical expertise, and medical research, including the William J. Biography: Dr. Aylin Unsal is originally from New Jersey with roots in Istanbul, Turkey. She attended Georgetown University where she studied Biology of Global Health with a research focus. She then worked at the National Institutes of Health performing clinical research regarding effects of long-term HIV infection in perinatally-infected patients. She earned her medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School with international clinical experiences in Guatemala and Turkey. She then completed residency training at Rutgers Health/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Program. During residency Dr. Unsal continued clinical research focusing on family planning in those with medical co-morbidities and continues to have an interest in the care of these patients.
