Dr. Ashley Sbanotto, MD

3 times I’ve been to this office. 3 times I have waited more than 1 hour to sit in a room for 45 more minutes. They do not accept tele-visits. Sbanato is knowledgeable, but always in a rush. Doesn’t give you the time you need. Will only answer one of your questions. GOOD LUCK!

Dr. Sbanotto was very thorough explaining the procedure I was about to have. She spent 15-20, unrushed and open to questions.

Dr Sbanotto was very informative and caring. She wasn’t in a hurry and I didn’t wait long so visit with her. My daughter had her first feminine visit with a doctor and she loved Dr Sbanotto also.

In June of this year (2020), I was advised by Dr. Sbanotto to have an endometrial biopsy to determine whether or not I have uterine cancer. I asked several times whether the biopsy could be performed at their office under sedation or with pain medicines. The answer was no....the procedure was, therefore, performed without such measures. Needless to say, the pain was excruciating. I have never experienced such debilitating pain in my 60 years...yet I have had a c-section, hysteroscopies, d&c’s, uterine ablation, etc. The pain was unbearable. Because my cervix was closed and scarred from the ablation, Dr. Sbanotto had to use a scalpel to cut my cervix in order to reach my uterus. This was done without sedation or medications of any kind. Because the pain was so severe, I asked her to stop the procedure. No one should have to experience pain and trauma on this level. After this event, I left the practice and went to another ob/gyn who will be performing the biopsy under sedation.

I was referred by my primary care doctor to Sbanotto and I did not have a good experience. She wasn’t very knowledgeable and seemed very irritated that I had questions. She started explaining that what was happening was normal . Immediately after I called another doctor and after examination it was determined that I am going to have to have surgery.

Does not rush the conversation, fully listens to your concerns and addresses them. Very quiet, calm bedside manner. Office is hectic, usualoy runs far behind schedule, office staff is sub-par, but she is the reason I continue going here.

Dr. Sbanotto was wonderful every single time I would go see her. Her bedside manner was sincere and calm and she made me feel very comfortable after receiving some very bad news in regards to my health. I feel she took the appropriate steps to get me better and although my insurance does not cover her anymore I will say I would recommend her to anyone. Fabulous doctor.
