Meniscus repair
Telehealth
Had surgery in Aug 2022 for torn meniscus. Instead of removing meniscus like other doctors recommended, Dr Salimen repaired my meniscus and also did a new technology Implant of the Misha knee system. I am 62 and the day after surgery I had no presurgery pain. I am 5 mos post surgery doing physical exercises. Everything Dr. Saliman told me has been spot on. I still have a few more months healing and physical work to do but this new knee system I would very much recommend. Hopefully keeps patients from full knee replacement!! Dr Salimen was very professional and caring. Patient care exceptional. Would highly recommend!! Did telehealth appt first sent MRI results and did another phone consultation after that we set surgery and I flew out to have surgery. I could not get this type of surgery where I live as the doctors here are not open to meniscus repair. Dr Saliman knows his stuff and helps perverse the knee joint if at all possible. Consult him first before a knee replacement!

68 year old runner four meniscus tears right knee
BACK ON THE ROAD RUNNING AGAIN thanks to Dr.Saliman. In October 2021 I hurt my knee running. In December I went to see a surgeon at St Jude who was by far the worst doctor ever. He couldn’t accurately read an MRI, twisted my knee to cause the root of my meniscus to tear (afterwards could not sit without my meniscus catching on my ACL, recommended no surgery, said I would never run again and physical therapy. After first PT I couldn’t walk for 45 minutes. Then by the grace of God I found doctor Saliman at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills. I sent Dr Saliman the StJude MRI and he said I had three tears in my lateral meniscus and one horizontal tear in the medial meniscus of my right knee. Whereas the St. Jude surgeon said I had one tear in lateral meniscus. Dr. Saliman operated on my right knee on March 22 a date I’ll never forget. Prior to surgery, he said I would be running in 4 to 5 months. After wearing a straight leg brace for six weeks and 19 PT I’m now running 1.5 miles with no pain.

I required a revision surgery after Dr. Saliman's initial operation and I feel much better now that a different surgeon has corrected his work. My experience with him was not a positive one and I certainly wouldn't recommend him as a surgeon.

It's been 5 years and a week since I received my "New Hip" and I am so thankful for this blessing God made possible. My new hip has allowed me to do everything I did with the old Hip, Only; without the pain! I am grateful for my surgeon "Dr. Justin D." who impressed me not just with his abilities which are exceptional but when just before surgery he prayed with me. Praying that all would go well with the operation and my recovery.Yes, I believe in God, I believe in prayer and I Thank you Lord!

Dr Saliman did my labral tear and FAI surgery in 2017 and it’s pretty much back to brand new. He seems like a really knowledgeable surgeon and very friendly. My surgery was more complicated than expected and he did everything he could to make sure i will not need a hip replacement. I would recommend him
