The nurse vaccinated my 10 day old baby while I was across the room discussing an alternate schedule with Dr. Downes. I was not holding my baby or anywhere near her when she got her first shot. She urinated on the table and was in a pool of her urine. I am for vaccinations and just wanted to know if it was possible to delay them after another month. The doctor got angry with me and belittled me although I was not going to do any traveling or have visitors as it is my culture and custom. I do not recommend this office or doctor.

My children have been patients of Dr. Downes since they were born (they are now 17 and 13 years old.) I think she is one of the best pediatricians in Orange County. I love how her office has the early morning walk in hours for sick patients - have used it many times over the years. I highly recommend this practice - all of the doctors and staff are outstanding!
