I have 3 healthy adult males, all of whom saw Dr. Gutrecht, almost exclusively, during their childhood. She was very hands on, explaining everything, never made us felt rushed, and listened to every new age crazy parenting idea I threw at her. She allowed some, and patiently walked me through the rest. TO BE CLEAR, we had, between the three, a stroke, 3rd degree burns, stitches, a misdiagnosed autism (not by her), and croup for years. Not once, did she make me feel I was hysterical, overly concerned, or anything but a great parent. In fact, her constant refrain was “Mothers’ know best “. Have no fear, I wish she did geriatrics.
