Wealth of Knowledge
Crista Prates is a wealth of knowledge regarding rheumatological conditions. I have seen many doctors who didn’t come close to her level of detail and analytical problem solving abilities. On top of that, her personality is warm and reassuring. After being dismissed and not treated seriously by other doctors, she not only gave me a thorough diagnostic evaluation, but discovered what my underlying medical issues were. She fights for patients to regain their quality of life through carefully supervising and advising on medications. Even between appointments she makes a point of being available to message about any issues related to symptoms, medications, pain, and so forth. She is also neurodivergent friendly in her communication style (Ex. patients with ADHD, Autism, etc.) and never makes you feel like your questions or concerns are a bother. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
