Biography: Dr. Michael McCabe has a philosophy of individualized care and placing emphasis on the particular needs and concerns of his patients. He believes in strong patient/provider communication skills, as he wants his patients to fully understand their disease state and treatment recommendations. Dr McCabe has a particular interest in diagnosing, staging and endoscopic therapies for GI oncology patients and is passionate about treating pancreatobiliary disease as he specializes in ERCP, diagnostic/therapeutic EUS, cholangioscopy and endoscopic mucosal resection.Dr. McCabe graduated from the University of Virginia with distinction, double majoring in biology and economics, prior to obtaining his medical degree from Georgetown University He subsequently completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Virginia. After fellowship, he joined the clinical faculty at the University of Virginia, while completing an additional Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship to learn the latest, state-of-the-art endoscopy techniques. He is actively dual board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology/hepatology.Dr. McCabe's personal interests include skiing, hiking, biking and traveling.

Biography: Dr. Wisser joined RMG in 2017, and prior to her moving to Denver, she spent five years in private practice with the Michigan Gastroenterology Institute. She has been serving as Associate Professor at Michigan State University where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine & Bachelor of Human Sciences degrees. She completed her Internal Medicine residency & Gastroenterology fellowship at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Andrew S. Korson is a board certified gastroenterologist bringing vast experience and fluency in the Spanish language to the RMG Lakewood clinic and Lakewood Endoscopy. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. as well as a clinical fellowship in medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Korson has advanced training in interventional endoscopy as well as pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. Throughout his career, he has obtained prestigious honors, including election into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Excellence in Tutoring Award and was awarded with the University of Colorado Travel Grant among many other honors. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in Irvine, CA. Dr. Madrid completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, and finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology from the same school. Dr. Madrid has won many awards and honors including Honors in Surgery from the University of California and the UCI College of Medicine Service Award. Dr. Madrid is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a Board Member of the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation of America, Rocky Mountain Chapter. Dr. Madrid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He went on to the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, NJ, where he received his medical degree. He then returned to New Hampshire to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. After a move out west, Dr. Springer completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Dr. Springer is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Biography: Dr. Rafiq completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the State University of New York in 2005. She worked at Presbyterian Medical Group as an attending gastroenterologist for four years before joining the University of New Mexico in 2009 to pursue advanced training in endoscopic ultrasound. Dr Rafiq completed her endoscopic ultrasound training in 2010. Dr. Rafiq specializes in pancreaticobiliary disease, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, barretts esophagus, radio frequency ablation, single balloon enteroscopy and video capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Mackenzie attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Mackenzie has won many awards including the Virginia Schuman Scholarship from the University of ?Colorado School of Medicine and the Howard Hughes Research Grant and President?s Scholarship from Colorado State University. Dr. Mackenzie has authored numerous publications, including research papers in Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Biography: Dr. Patt pursued his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. He then attended The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He did his residency training at Boston Medical Center and then stayed an extra year to serve as Chief Medical Resident. He then went to Johns Hopkins Hospital to do his fellowship in gastroenterology. At Johns Hopkins Dr. Patt was awarded the Schering Plough / American Association for the Study of Liver Disease advanced hepatology fellowship, which enabled him to pursue subspecialty training in liver disease and liver transplantation. His areas of special interests include liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He is currently on the board of the Crohn's and Colitis foundation. He has served as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and is currently the Chairman of the Division of Gastroenterology at Sky Ridge Medical Center.
